In the Museum of Rodengo Saiano there are the principal collections of machines and items of the History of Manufacturing Industry of Brescia and Italy.

The exhibition “Inside cinema” gives a concise panorama of the crucial moments of the origins and development of cinema: the mouvement of images (24 or 12 frames per second), the editing, sound and so on.

At the end of the path, there is a movie theater, with ‘50s furniture, where it is possible to watch a selection of films belonging exclusively to the Museum. Visitors can choose, through a touch screen, a wide range of different films and plan the screening.

In the building’s front section, in the mezzanine, a 600 square meters area is dedicated to the Museum’s activities such as seminars, meetings and lessons.

Over the permanet exhibition of cinema, there is a laboratory dedicated, in particular, to the digitization of magnetic tapes.

The Cinema Laboratory was created thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Cariplo.
